Eye make up

Getting a smokey eye make up tip that does not make you look like a raccoon can be difficult. There are many factors to be considered. And you'll have to practice a lot to get smokey eyes just right.

You should experiment with holding your brush at just the right angle for the application you like best, the amount of pressure to be used when applying the color, what color you like and make your eyes stand out, and how to blend the colors of light into the dark .

Practice, practice, practice.

Basic Equipment

I will give a basic smokey eye make tip of equipment and choice of colors, and you can experiment and choose what you like and what works for you.

Color eyeshadow: Use black eyeshadow or gray without proper application and mixing can cause you to see a "goth" small, but it beyond this season. If you think you do not want to see how this, I recommend using less intense colors.

Try violet, chocolate, coffee, dark pink, copper, dark green or purple, etc.

Color eyeliner: A dark gray, charcoal or black.

Basic Technique

Here is a basic smokey eye make tip technique. As mentioned above, practice and play around until you can feel and look that you like.

Step 1: Apply a highlighter color crystal or other only in your browbone. Applying it to cover all dark colors can cause you to look muddy when applied on it. Apply a little under your eye and right on the tear ducts to keep eyes looking wide and "open".

Step 2: Using a taupe, nude or sand color, apply only to your eyelids.

Step 3: Use the flat edge brush for this part. Rub the fur in your color dark. Then hold the brush almost vertically, with the flat edge touching your eyelashes. Sweep the color straight to just above the crease. It's all the techniques here. You should be able to see this color a little above your crease when your eyes open.

Step 4: Finally, use dark colors for this step. This could be a, dark brown metallic, dark purple and green, whatever. Use the same technique and sweep the color from your eyelashes up to just below the fold. Too high and you'll look like a raccoon.

Step 5: Using a pencil eyeliner in black or charcoal, line all the way around your upper and lower lid. Using your fingers or a sponge tip, smudge eyeliner, so it does not have a different line. If you prefer, you may want to apply your mascara first, so you can blend in error to the eyeliner. You can also use eyeshadow and eyeshadow brush to line your eyes.

Step 6: Now use a very dark eyeshadow (black, dark gray, very dark purple or Maroons, etc.) and smudge the pencil lines and get out and around the eyes all over you. (Do not stain for tearduct you!)

Step 7: Now apply (a lot) and mascara curl your eyelashes. This will finish your smokey eye look.

Using the smokey eye makeup tips and a little practice, you will have beautiful eyes in no time.
