Aviators hide everything!

Hi All!!

Here's a photo of me at around 8am this week on my way to work, why I took a photo of myself this early in the morning on a weekday... I have no idea haha! All I know is that I love that you can't even tell how tired I am in this photo. Aviators with reflected lenses do the trick perfectly....

Hello Kitty by Victoria Couture ♥

Hi All!!

I came across these delightful Hello Kitty bags designed by Victoria Couture on the brill website Spartoo and they have really grown on me.

I'm not one for cutesy kinda of bags, but there is just something about Hello Kitty that I think you will all agree makes any female of any age secretly, if not aloud find themselves loving their stuff. It's just something about the style, texture, glitter and not forgetting the bold kitty logo... thats the best part.... that gets us weak at the knees. I can never resist browsing the stuff and there is such a wide range of items in the Hello Kitty brand it's really hard not to, it's definately an empire in it's own right.

Myself, I own a purse from the range and have always wanted a big chunky necklace but when I came across these bags and I thought 'Mmmm me likey!' Isn't it funny that when I was a little girl I used to walk around using my moms 'grown up' handbag when playing dress up and now as an adult myself, the idea of walking around with a child like bag is definately quite the opposite. You somehow revisit your childhood with these styles of bags, but when you see a fellow fashionista tottering around town with something by Hello Kitty on their person, you know she enjoys quirky!

Here are just some of the styles of bags I mean and I thank you Spartoo for having such a big selection of bags on your site....

What do you think? Quirky or Childish?

Les Khakis De Chanel Nail Polish

This summer, I was a little late jumping on the Chanel Nouvelle Vague nail polish bandwagon. By the time I discovered the rockin' robin's egg blue lacquer at a local salon, I could only get a manicure. Buying a bottle there - or anywhere else - was out of the question, as the shade was sold out everywhere. Well, except for eBay, where a single bottle had a price tag of $75.

After missing out on Nouvelle Vague, I swore I would never again be tardy to a Chanel LE VERNIS party. And I don't want you to be singing the shoulda woulda coulda’s either. Which is why I beseech you to buy Les Khakis De Chanel, a collection of three nail polishes developed in celebration of Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out.

Three limited-editions hues (Khaki Rose, a dusky pink-beige; Khaki Vert, a mossy foam green; and Khaki Brun, a pale stony taupe) are must-haves for any beauty lover's polish collection…especially if you’re like me and appreciate an edgy, neutral nail. The shades can be worn alone, but I've been told they can be particularly edgy when all three are painted in an alternating, camouflage-y pattern.

Considering I've got my hands full with a 3 week old baby, I'm gonna stick to a minimal mani and leave the artistry to you nail philes out there.

Les Khakis De Chanel are now available at Chanel boutiques, Chanel.com and select department stores.

Spartoo: A website that has it all?

Hi All!!

A cool website I had never heard of has been brought to my attention recently and I will be posting alot more about it over a period of time so watch this space. This website goes by the name of Spartoo and if you have also not heard of it I would advise you to check it out.

I personally love that they sell shoes, bags and accessories for Men, Women and Children by many popular brands such as Adidas, Morgan, Miss Sixty and Ugg. Having had a look through the website it seems easy to navigate, has loads to browse through and in all honestly I have found myself liking alot of the items; especially those from the clearance section. You must all know me too well by now, I am a die hard fan of discounted items.

I found that after searching through the site for a while I came across some hidden gems, and this is something all shoppers must keep in mind with this site. Although my initial thoughts were that I couldn't really see items that were really me I actually took the time to search through and came across quite a few items that I really liked. I even gave my fella the opportunity to see what he thought and he too gave the site a thumbs up for the boys.

I just wanted to show you some gems this site has to offer......

Be sure to check the website out, i'm sure you'll see me post about Spartoo again very soon.

Early birthday present to myself.. MEOW!!

Hi All!!

Ok so my 24th birthday is fast approaching: Thursday 16th September. I always treat myself to a pressie to myself, this year I was going to ge some Minx Nails done in leopard print but unfortunately could not get them done on extensions so I declined to have them done and will now be going to my usual nail technician Dawn who is also my boyfriends sister!!

But I took the plunge, I bought something so daring even i'm not so sure i'll pull the look off. Yes ladies and gents I have purchased myself some thigh high leopard print boots!!

At just £35 in sale at Office from £90 I couldn't resist them. I love that I can wear them three ways also:
♥ Thigh high
♥ The top folded over for a pirate boot effect
♥ Scruched down to ankle/mid calf height

I'm not so sure what outfits I will pull together with them; either way they will have to be understated as these boots scream 'look at me'! I know alot of people either love or hate any sort of animal print.. i'm definately a faux fur supporter, but i just adore some of the prints.

You can see my previous post about Leopard being one of the A/W trends for 2010 here and my boots are actually the first photo I included in the post!!!

I can't wait to wear them!!
