Before we get started

Let me tell you a little bit about me, what kind of beauty products I like generally, and what is important to me.

I am:
Slightly over 30 years old.
Married.
Someone who lives in a warm, humid climate.
Someone who does not have a lot of time, so I like products that do not require a lot of time.
A fanatic when it comes to skin care.

I think:
Natural and organic beauty products are awesome, so I look for them all the time.
Everything looks better when it's applied on great skin, so we should all care for our skin properly before looking at anything else.
Makeup can be fun, but should never be a chore.
Makeup for special occasions is even more fun.
The best products are not always the most expensive ones, but sometimes you do get what you pay for.
The right perfume and scent can make a huge difference.
Sometimes you need to feel girly and glamorous, and beauty products can help us do just that.

Some of my favorite brands are:
L'Occitane
MAC
Clarins
Dior
Chanel
Neutrogena
Lancome (especially their mascaras)
Lumene (a brand made for Scandinavian skin)
But I still have tons of other brands to try, and I also use products from tons of other brands as well on a regular basis.

Help: Red Leggings?!!

Hi All!!

I need your sexy fashionista's help... I have recently purchased some red vintage leggings from Cow Vintage for only £4... yes £4!! But I haven't a clue what to wear them with?!

So what was the reason for buying them you may ask? Well my first and foremost idea was to use them for photoshoots as I do have a bag full of clothes, lingerie, jewellery and accessories that I only use for photoshoots so they always look brand new. And I thought why not add these to the bag because they're different, really out there and very cheap!

But in all honesty I want to wear them for a night out... just once I might add! So I am asking you to help me out if possible. I have been searching the internet for inspirational photos regarding red leggings and my top outfits are the following...

The first outfit is by far my favourite, although she is wearing jeans rather then leggings I think it goes so well! I also think that each outfit is so different and great for different sorts of occasions too.

What are your thoughts? Let me know what outfit you think I would like best in or any other ideas you have. At the moment I think the white heels and top are my current favourite!

Website of the Month: LitterSF.com

Hi All!!

I have come across the best jewellery website in a long while and you know me, I just had to share this with you! Litter is an American based brand that specialises in body jewellery made from chain and alsorts of funky items to adorn your bodies with. The brand quite literally provides jewellery for every part of your body; head to toe.

Just check out these hawt items....

and the more wacky items.....

I can't say the facial items are something I would try out, maybe for a photoshoot but not for a night out hehe!

How fabulous are these items? If you've seen items such as the arm, ankle, body jewellery before then no worries, here's just another outlet for you view and see if there is anything you might want to purchase. If however you hadn't like me then MY OH MY!!!

If any of you remember I did previously post about a trend that doesn't seem to be picked up by the high street yet and that is the thigh garter/jewellery trend. I posted about it briefly here whilst wearing a feather boot cuff on my thigh. It got mixed reviews but i'm all for individuality and more then not people liked it! I want more items to wear on my body now!!!

I do really think this brand is amazing, I just wish I was rich enough to pay out £80+ per item. You all know me i'm a bargain queen so as much as I adore these items I really can't afford to buy them.. but maybe one day?!

What do you think?

Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect Lotions Giveaway!

Unless you want to look like Magda from There’s Something About Mary in 30 years, sunscreen is a necessity – especially in the summertime. But who actually applies it on the regular? Problem is that we ladies spend lots of time and oodles of money protecting our pretty faces, yet neglect the rest of our bodies. Sunscreen becomes an afterthought because it’s utilitarian. It's boring. It’s not sexy. Well, until now, that is...

I just discovered a new line of products that gives new meaning to “hot fun in the summertime.” Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect Lotion Sunscreens, available in SPF 20 and 40, contain prestige minerals that add a soft, subtle sheen to enhance and highlight skin tone while providing broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. The rich and creamy formula features skin-nourishing antioxidants and Hawaiian Tropic’s signature coconut scent. The Shimmer Effect Coconut Papaya After Sun Lotion is infused with Aloe Vera and Cocoa, Shea and Mango butters, and is great for everyday use.

The shimmer that these products leave on your skin looks so good that, last week, I applied the After Sun Lotion post-shower…and I had absolutely nowhere to go. Seriously, I just sat on the sofa marveling at my shimmery skin.

On a level of 1 to 10 (1 being blah, bare skin and 10 being J.Lo), the Shimmer Effect Lotions deliver a level 6 shimmer. They’re workplace and weekend appropriate. And - as if you needed one more reason to open your wallet - they’re only $8 each!

When a product blows me away, I can’t keep it to myself. Which is why I’m posting this glowing review…and hooking one Spoiled Pretty reader up! Sharing is caring, as they say. One of you will receive all three products, plus a gold Hawaiian Tropic tote bag to, er, tote your beauty booty.

To enter, follow me on Twitter (I'm @spoiledpretty), then tweet this message:
