Makeup Mondays With Mario: Brushes That Won't Break The Bank

Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is answering your burning beauty questions!!! Every Monday, he will answer a beauty/skin care question as part of a weekly column on Spoiled Pretty, Makeup Mondays with Mario.

Mario,

How are you? I have been following your work and reading your blog for a couple of years now and you are my go-to guy for anything makeup and beauty related. I noticed in pictures that you have a ton of brushes that seem to be from different brands and I know that good quality brushes are important. Can you please recommend brushes that are good but affordable and preferably from one company? I have a couple of MAC brushes but I can't really afford to buy a whole set right now. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!

-Danielle

Hi Danielle,

I totally understand where you're coming from when it comes to brushes being pricy! Finding very good, inexpensive brushes that last long and work well will sometimes require a bit of research. Research and testing takes all the fun out of it so heres my recommendation that I'm certain you will be very happy with. Try Sigma brushes. Sigma is a line of professional brushes that are all high quality and won't break the bank. They offer a bunch of brush sets that you can choose from as well as individual brushes.

Happy Holidays to you as well and thanks for visiting Makeup Mondays With Mario!

xo,
Mario

I've joined a tribute girl group 'The Rockettes'

Hi All!!

I briefly mentioned in a previous post that I have joined a tribute girl group. I thought I would post about it in a bit more detail though. We are a three piece girl group tributing to the decades from the 50's right through to the 80's. We are based in the West Midlands and are called; The Rockettes.

The group is made up of Bryony, Heidi and myself. Originally starting off in September the other two girls started performing in the group and when the previous third member decided to leave as a result I joined in November.

Heidi, Bryony & Me

This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made because I have always wanted to do this; I adore singing but never had the confidence to go out and perform. Luckily I now get to do what I love and performing with two amazing girls makes it even more fun!

We were super busy over the Christmas period and have grown so much in our talents and stage presence. I hope we get to do this for a long time, we are already being booked up this year and have some exciting opportunities coming up so watch this space!!

If you are interested in learning more about us and our upcoming gigs then here is the link to our website: The Rockettes

Relationship tips | Tips For Women

It seems that when relationships are faced with challenges, people quit trying.

For married couples, divorce is not biased avoided. The fact is that relationships, whether dating or married relationship difficult answer is that they all work hard for their relationship. They made the decision to choose to love their mate rather than relying on the "warm and fuzzy" feelings, which everyone knows it, will fade.

With the love of your choice to make decisions even when circumstances bad, you still will come out.

Think of it like choosing a car. It will take some time so be patient.

1. Start Earlier

When the couple first got together, everything feels new and exciting. They ignore the little things and not disturb anyone. However, after a time, started arguing, not the listener, or praising "You look beautiful," they can hear "Why are you wearing?" If this sounds like your relationship, first, second, you need to sit down and be honest that things have changed. Identify the things each other did in the beginning of relationships that create attraction in the first place. Then together, make a commitment to start again. The truth is, you both have to work this. It will not be easy but perhaps automatically. Start by forgiving each other, forget the past, and then start over with temptation. Focus only on certain things couples do and learn again to put things that are important side. It will take some time so be patient.

2. Schedule Time

Spend quality time together is very important. This time can be with friends, eating out, attending sports events, or cuddle together while watching your favorite movies. People have very busy schedules and between work, family, home, work, and everything that happens, find time for your partner can be difficult. Just like you would schedule a meeting on your calendar, show some decency in relation to scheduling time with each other. This is similar to the relationship. Playing with your partner's hair, rubbing their hands, soft kisses on the neck, gently rub or pat on the back foot to provide soft will make a big difference in how your partner responds to you. When was the last time you go to your spouse for no reason and without saying a word, unfortunately placed a kiss on their neck? Do not be surprised if you get a strange look of curiosity the first time!

3. Using the power of touch

When a child is sick, the doctor will tell you that hot sick child. Prove that with a simple touch of bias doctors to know the situation of children, a loving parent can quickly pull the child to avoid a crisis. This is the same as for the relationship. This is not in a sexual way, but how to love. There is a difference. The next time you are both sitting in the car, the story of the store, or standing in line at the theater, quietly reach over and take their hands. Do not be surprised if you get a strange look of curiosity the first time!

4. Surprise

If you and your mate have scheduled some time for dinner on Friday, gathering a surprise instead. For example, if your partner likes professional wrestling, buy tickets near the front or if they like concerts buy tickets ahead of time, get the best seats. If your partner is like fish, but you have no desire to bait a hook with little, slimy worms, or if you want to go to the casino, but your spouse would rather do something different, pushing each other to take time apart. Try to set a time set for this purpose, if possible. Remember that you must put trust in your relationship. If you know that you and your spouse have proven differences in opinion on certain subjects, avoid it.

5. Required space

As important as it is to spend time together, it is equally important to give any time to do something they love. If your partner is like fish, but you have no desire to bait a hook with little, slimy worms, or if you want to go to the casino, but your spouse would rather do something different, pushing each other to take time apart. Try to set a time set for this purpose, if possible. For example, maybe you could determine that every other Friday night is "singles" night. This is not the time to date other people, but to enjoy preferred activities. Remember that you must put trust in your relationship. If you try this and then drill them, to see what they do, who they are with, and where they go, then this exercise has failed.

6. Do not argue

If you know that you and your spouse have proven differences in opinion on certain subjects, avoid it. For example, if you're a Republican and your mate is a Democrat, politics should be avoided. Because both of you identify new topics that could cause a debate session, stop the conversation before it even begins.

7. Charger Talk

If you are married, especially with children, out of the habit of talking about nothing. Even if you do not understand everything the agreement, listening intently to what our partners say. Do not be too often talked about working against the couple. This does not mean that you are far more interested in the job, but also for the life of your spouse.

8. Predictability

If you ask some of the factors involved in the death of their relationship, one common response is that everything in a relationship that is so easy to guess. When rebuilding relationships, do not be afraid to let go of boredom. If you normally hate the fact that Saturday afternoons consist of your spouse sit for hours watching football, fix a few finger sandwiches and something cold to drink and go join them on the couch, or if your partner spends hours in the garden try to make things look perfect, surprise them with new flowering plants, and then help to plant it. When walking with your partner, stop and give them a gentle kiss, said, "I love you," and then kept walking. Take some chances and do the unexpected.

9. Lighten Up

Often when couples have gone through or are going through some bumpy places in their relationship, things tend to be serious. It could be that there is a large amount of tension or perhaps they are not sure what to say. Whatever the reason, learn to relax. Do not take every comment, glance, or movement as a serious problem. If your partner makes a mistake, that you both will, let it go, or if appropriate, laugh about it. If you make a mistake, do not be afraid to poke fun at them. This automatically starts a process to resolve the tension.

10. Convey

When couples have problems in a relationship, communication is the first thing that must be stopped. It is often easier to just keep quiet rather than angry. When a relationship again, because communication is the first to stop, now need to be the first to start. This will require that the two guards they were disappointed and pretty much throw caution to the wind. Healing in the relationship can not start until you talk. Make an agreement that you will talk about anything and everything and that you will listen, really listen. That does not mean that you will agree with everything, it is good. However, if you do not agree, do not shout, otherwise, you both need to discuss this issue calmly and together, work out a solution. It is hard work but within a very short time, you will both feel much better, individually and as couples.
...
11. A Night of Passion

Intimacy and passion in relationships is not only important but also healthy. Couples need to enjoy an intimate manner. Make your intimate time together special. Surprise your partner with a warm bubble bath, lighted candles, soft music, and a bottle of wine, or reserve a nice romantic evening at a local hotel to include a wonderful dinner with candles, good wine, and beautiful space.

12. Junket

Spending time with friends in this type of arrangement is a great way to reduce stress.

13. Happy birthday

As people grow older, in general, birthdays become less celebrated. For the next birthday of your partner, take time to plan something very special.

14. Secret Getaway

Plan a great weekend vacation to some place beyond the point where you can enjoy privacy. Scouts from the area ahead of time and choose a few things that you both want to do in the area but just be sure to leave plenty of time for you to enjoy time alone.

15. Special Speech

If your partner has to work late and you know he's having a bad day, surprise him with a gourmet meal late at night. Give your spouse a gift "just because." Surprise your partner with little notes found in unexpected places. If your travel partner to work, place a loving note somewhere in their suitcase. Maybe they have a long journey to work.

16. Because only

Give your spouse a gift "just because." This is not always expensive. For example, a woman has a collection of miniature dishes in the kitchen. Her husband came home and said that he was a gift for him. Held out his hand, he gently placed his hand a miniature porcelain cup with her name neatly written in blue ink. He knew that this cup probably cost no more than $ 2.00 but think that he would take the time to find something he enjoys, worth $ 1 million. Small gifts are packed with a mind that is much more appreciated.

17. Say It with Words

Surprise your partner with little notes found in unexpected places. If your travel partner to work, place a loving note somewhere in their suitcase. Maybe they have a long journey to work. If so, slip a note saying, "I love you," in their CD case where you know that they will find it. Another recommendation is to keep notes on the bathroom mirror so this will be the first thing you see in the morning. Be creative and have fun with this.

18. Embrace

When couples first start dating, cuddling is usually a part of their daily life. However, as the relationship lasts or after children enter the picture, quit hugging. Spend some time just to cuddle. This makes both people feel safe and loved.

19. Breakfast in bed

Once upon a time you should spend some time for this. Whether in the morning before your spouse wakes up, you try to wake him up with a breakfast in the morning. Then, kissing her forehead, saying "Good Morning Darling"
When was the last time you or your partner are served breakfast in bed?

20. Making Men Feel Good

Act jealous every now and then, even if you do not
Remember that he is the best partner, a good husband, good father, whichever is applicable. Just like men, women want to feel good about themselves. These recommendations may help:
Showing affection in front of family and friends

21. Make Women Feel Good

Just like men, women want to feel good about themselves. These recommendations may help:

* Tell her how beautiful she
* Compliment her on her many skills (more specific)
* Only once, leaving the toilet seat down
* Tell her how much she means to you
* Let her know that she is your best friend
* Show affection to her in front of family and friends
* Let her know that you found her to be sexy

22. Kiss
As couples become comfortable with each other, kisses can become lame. Though there were times when the right time for a serious kiss, they must love, sincere, and passionate, regardless of how long they last. You'll find that you pay attention to kiss you and let your partner know that you enjoy kissing them; you both will feel better about your relationship.

23. Special Hobbies
It may be that you are both the same - Sam loves refurnishing furniture. Try to do a hobby together when you with your vacation. It will definitely feel how beautiful togetherness

24. Listening to it - really
Go to the habit of listening to what your partner is saying. Once again, without any reason.

25. Be a Kid
Do not let your relationship grow old and stale. Understand and accept that it is okay to be silly from time to time. If you have something special planned for Friday night, rent a few games, order in Chinese, plug in the Play Station, and playing games.
If possible, rent a limo and have a chilled bottle of champagne before you go

26. Showing Love

Although hearing the words, "I love you" is special and important, sometimes you wish you could tell your partner and your partner to hear the words, but with specific and unique ways. Rent your favorite movies, even if it is something you do not like, and nights where you can plan with him as he enjoys his special treat.
Then, pour the batter over the words to make a round pancake. A breakfast favorite at the table along with the morning paper.

27. Split Responsibility

If you find that the things that weight the end of next week, help your mate out. This gesture will show your partner that you really care about sacrificing your time.

Hopefully these tips helpful to your survival with your partner.
